Worship

Breath is the only thing required to praise.  A drunk can praise with alcohol on his breath. Any man, saved or sinner, can release praise at any given moment. But worship is different.

At Souls of the Light, we worship passionately and purposefully.  Why?  Because it means something.

Worship is a game-changer.  A table-turner.  A key that unlocks the pursuing nature of God.

John chapter 4 backs this up when Jesus dialogues with the Samaritan woman and says that God 'seeks' authentic worship and true worshippers.  A praiser may be attempting to get closer to God but a worshipper creates a desire in God that persuades Him to move closer. God literally seeks them..pursues them..and when he finds them, He brings with him everything that He is and all that He has.
